Welcome to Leamington Night Shelter
During the Covid-19 pandemic we had to close, as our premises were closed.
The Trustees have now taken the decision to close completely and are winding up our affairs.
All rough sleepers have been accommodated by Warwick District Council, and are receiving food from
Helping Hands and the LWS Night Shelter. The Way Ahead project at the Salvation Army is also open.
July 2022
Whatever their reasons for coming, all are welcome at the Shelter. We were open not just for rough sleepers, but for all vulnerable and needy people and those who often feel ignored.
From 9pm on Sunday and Wednesday nights, a team of volunteers offered a warm meal, company and comfortable surroundings to about 40 people, about a third of whom then stayed the night. Support was also given in other ways.
This took place thanks to our hosts, Radford Road Church (Methodist/URC) in Leamington, CV31 1NF.
